This book uses a unique way of writing. It is written in a “snapshot” style that provides a concise description of concepts central to the topic under discussion. Topics have links connecting the reader to more in-depth information which provides enriching details and outcomes of clinical trials related to that concept. This allows the reader to select which topics they want to explore in greater depth to expand their knowledge, and at the same time quickly grasp key topic ideas.

The expanded topics allow the authors to continue to update material as research expands and also allow us to have guest editors who are experts in the field to provide comments on topics of interest. This book is intended as a dynamic document that will grow and expand over time.
